Tiger Barb (South Est Asia)
Real name: Puntius tetrazona
Growing up to 7cm long in the wild, the tiger barb or sumatra barb, has become a favourite among fishkeepers. Best kept in shoals but can be slightly aggressive towards gentler species.

Discus (Amazon)
Real name: Symphysodon aequifasciatus
Discus are from the genus of three species of freshwater cichlid fishes found in the Amazon River. Requires very soft slightly acidic water CH 0-1.5; PH 5.5-6. Prefers low lighting levels.
Special note: Feeding discus can be a challenge - when purchasing ask what they have being fed.
