New Dennerle products now available - T5 Lighting
With the launch of the new T5 lighting programme Dennerle is expanding its Trocal product line to provide high-end lighting for the entire product portfolio. Trocal T5 fluorescent tubes fit all standard T5 aquarium lighting systems, including all the T5 aquarium lighting systems from Juwel.
Dennerle is introducing the new T5 technology into the existing Trocal product line in response to developments in an area of growing importance to customers. T5 stands for a new generation of lamps. With a diameter of only 16 mm, the T5 fluorescent tubes offer higher light intensity than comparable T8 tubes and are optimised for operation at an ambient temperature of 35°C. This makes T5 fluorescent tubes ideal for illuminating deeper aquaria or aquaria that require plenty of light.
The Trocal T5 product portfolio from Dennerle covers the full spectrum of lighting needs for fresh water aquaria with Special Plant, Amazon Day and Color Plus. The fluorescent tubes are each available in 10 different lengths and wattages, ensuring that they fit all standard T5 aquaria lighting systems, including all the current T5 aquaria covers and T5 lighting hoods from Juwel.
At 3000 K, Special Plant offers the ultimate growing light for aquarium plants. Amazon Day bathes aquaria in brilliant daylight with a luminous power of 6000 K, while Color Plus brings out the natural colouring of plants and fish in all its glory. All light colours can be combined with one another to create an individual light climate.
A unique advantage of the new T5 fluorescent tube technology from Dennerle is the UV Stop feature. Similarly to the previous T8 models, all the new tubes possess a special UV Stop protective foil which completely filters out UV light under 400 nm - a wavelength range particularly conducive to algae growth. In this way algae growth is effectively kept in check, allowing aquarium plants to flourish.
The high-quality Trocal T5 tubes from Dennerle are manufactured according to state-of-the-art production processes in Germany and combine a very high light output with excellent colour rendition and a long service life.
